Meningitis & Spinal Cord Injections
There have been numerous media reports about meningitis cases resulting from steroid medications prepared by the New England Compounding Center (NECC).
Jordan Hospital and the Jordan Hospital Pain Management Center does not use the steroid in question, methylprednisolone, or any other steroid medication prepared by NECC. The steroid injections used at Jordan Hospital are commercially prepared by drug companies routinely inspected by the Food & Drug Administration.
If you have any questions, please call the Jordan Hospital Pain Management Center at 508-830-2875.
