Meet the Senior Staff
The administration of the hospital is comprised of the president and chief executive officer, the vice president of finance and treasurer, the vice president of clinical and support services, the vice president of patient care services, the vice president of strategic planning and business development, and the vice president of philanthropy.

Peter J. Holden, President and Chief Executive Officer Peter Holden joined Jordan Hospital in November 2007. Previously, he was president and CEO of Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen and Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. At both of these hospitals, he built a culture fundamentally based in clinical quality and open and honest communication with all members of the hospital team. He promoted efforts to improve operational and clinical performance, to move from financial losses to financial gains and to expand clinical services. He forged a collaborative culture with physicians and initiated philanthropy efforts to support major expansion and modernization. Peter also has experience running hospitals in Ohio and New York. Peter is married and has four young children.

Donna Doherty, RN, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Donna Doherty joined Jordan Hospital in January of 2009. Previously, she held the position of Interim Vice President, Patient Care Services/CNO at Caritas Norwood Hospital. After completing her BSN at Southeastern Massachusetts University, Doherty began her nursing practice as a labor and delivery nurse. Her experience includes positions as a supplies representative; clinical software applications specialist; a nurse manager; administrative director for an emergency department, and an assistant vice president for nursing.

James Fanale, M.D., Senior Vice President of System Development Dr. James Fanale joined Jordan Hospital in September of 2008. Previously he was chief of geriatrics at Worcester Memorial Hospital for ten years. He maintains a clinical practice in Worcester to ensure the continuity and quality of care for a select number of patients. In addition to leading several multi-specialty physician groups, Fanale was senior vice president and chief medical officer for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts from 1999 to 2003, overseeing all clinical and administrative programs and managed care plan payer relationships. As the chief operating officer at Mercy Medical Center from 2004 to 2007, Fanale provided leadership over operations for the three-hospital Sisters of Providence Health System, which included acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities, as well as physician practices.

| Andrea Holleran, Vice President of External Affairs, joined the Hospital in 1992 as Director of Financial Planning. In 1996, she assumed the position of Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development and then Vice President of External Affairs in 2011. Ms. Holleran received a B.S. degree from Stonehill College and an M.B.A. degree from Anna Maria College, both in Massachusetts. Prior to assuming her position at the Hospital, Ms. Holleran held positions in finance and project management at Brockton Hospital and South Shore Hospital. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and American Hospital Association’s Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. |

Joseph Iannoni, Vice President of Finance Joseph Iannoni joined Jordan Hospital in October of 2008. He is a senior financial executive with more than 30 years experience in health care finance. A graduate of Lehigh University, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and economics, and a Master of Business Administration. Iannoni has spent the last five years in various financial leadership roles within the Caritas Christi Healthcare System, most recently as CFO for Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Iannoni served also as chief financial officer for Shields Health Care Group during the company's significant expansion efforts in Massachusetts from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, he held various senior level financial positions at a variety of tertiary and community hospitals in Massachusetts.

| Cynthia Outhouse, Vice President of Philanthropy, joined Jordan Health Systems in September 2001. Prior to assuming her current position, Ms. Outhouse served as Executive Director of the Health care Foundation for Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and Vice President of Philanthropy at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. Ms. Outhouse holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from Simmons College in Boston. She serves on the Board of Directors of the New England Association of Health care Philanthropy and is a member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and the Association for Health care Philanthropy. |
