Additional Information I offer patients comprehensive, state-of-the-art cancer care including diagnosis, treatment, and support services for breast, thyroid, melanoma, sarcomas, and gastrointestinal cancers—all located at the Jordan Hospital.

I received my undergraduate and medical education in my native country of Nicaragua and in Mexico. My internship and residency were performed at The Montreal General Hospital, McGill University, during which time I spent a year in cancer research.

Following my fellowship in surgical oncology, I was an attending surgeon at Barnes-Jewish Medical Center, Washington University in St. Louis. Most recently, I served as the Chair of Surgery at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, MA, and I’m a professor of surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA.
