The Jordan Hospital Rehabilitation Center at Cordage Commerce Center offers a wide range of outpatient services including physical, occupational, speech and complementary therapies for a variety of medical, surgical, neurological, orthopedic and rheumatoid conditions. Services are also provided for sports and work related injuries, lymphedema and female urinary incontinence. Our team of highly skilled and experienced therapists is dedicated to achieving specific patient goals, optimizing current functional levels and maintaining healthy, fulfilling lifestyles.

Physical Therapy Highly skilled and experienced licensed physical therapists are committed to treating and preventing injuries and disabilities. In our state-of-the-art facilities, therapists use a variety of treatment options including therapeutic exercise, manual therapies, aquatic therapy, and other modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound, as well as instruction in proper body mechanics and posture. Individualized treatment programs are designed to relieve pain and return patients to prior functional levels.
Occupational Therapy Our occupational therapy team consists of a skilled combination of a certified hand therapist, registered occupational therapists and certified occupational therapy assistants. When a patient’s ability to function independently has been challenged by injury or disease, our highly trained therapists develop an individualized program to meet the patients needs. A program may consist of exercises to improve activities of daily living, splinting, workplace ergonomic assessment, adaptive equipment training, joint preservation programs, pain management techniques and energy conservation techniques.

Hand Therapy Certified hand therapists offer specialized expertise in orthopedic, traumatic and neurological hand injuries.
Speech Therapy A certified speech and language pathologist provides a wide variety of communication therapy techniques for adults and children, both inpatient and outpatient, to improve speech, swallowing, voice and listening skills. Evaluation, treatment and consultation is offered in the following areas: articulation, aphasia (post stroke language), motor speech disorders, stuttering, voice, swallowing and child language disorders.
Select Complementary Therapies A licensed massage therapist provides an extensive offering in a variety of body work applications including: Swedish massage, deep tissue, reflexology, sports massage, and myoofascial release.
- Certified therapeutic yoga instructors focus on gentle stretching and relaxation that have an inherent ability to create health and wellness.
- Certified Reiki practitioners use a non-invasive hands-on approach to promote wellness in the mind, body and spirit.
- Certified Pilates instructor offers the reformer or mat programs in an individual or group setting to improve core strength.
Sports Medicine Therapists specially trained in the area of sports medicine provide treatment for athletic injuries to bones, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Care is provided for sports related injuries to allow patients to maximize their health, quality of life and level of sports participation. Athletic trainers are also actively involved in area schools, for injury prevention, treatment and exercise instruction.
Lymphedema Treatment Lymphedema is an accumulation of proteins and fluid in the tissues resulting in swelling in the arms or legs. Secondary lymphedema can occur following a surgical procedure involving removal of lymph nodes and/or as a complication of radiation therapy. Patients who undergo treatment for breast cancer may develop secondary lymphedema on the side of their surgery. A specially trained physical therapist from the rehabilitation department can assist patients suffering from this condition.
